Oh dear. 11 days until school starts, what a joy. I’m kind of excited actually…maybe… a little…. I’ll be a sophomore this year, and that means I’ll be joining the Juniors and Seniors at the Main Campus. AWESOME. At my school, since it’s so overcrowded, they built a school next to the high school that’s just for the freshmen. I liked it there, and I wish I could just stay there forever <333 It was kind of nice while it lasted. But now it feels like I'll be a freshman all over again :'( We had orientation last night and I got to find where all my classes are, so I hope and pray that I won't get lost on the first day and have to walk into the classroom late, so everyone stares at me. That is the worst. Possibly even worse than that, though, is the get to know you games we’re forced to play the first week of school, even as SOPHOMORES IN HIGH SCHOOL. We know almost everyone already, and even if I didn’t know most of the people, I’d rather continue to not know their names than have to play those horrible games. Oh gosh, especially when you have no friends in a particular class and you have to find a partner for one of the dumb games. Actually, the whole partner thing continues throughout the year. Is it weird that I hate interacting with people I’m not friends with? Yeah I know it is, but I’m really shy and awkward, so it is not fun!!!!
Would you like to see my schedule??!!!?

Now, onto a much more important topic than school: Getting my belly button pierced. My friend just got hers done and I’ve always liked how they look, so I’m like ohhhh my gosh I think I’ll get my belly button pierced too! I asked my mother, and she said “Not until you’re 18.” Um, what the eff?! She said because by then I will have a more mature mind to make such and important decision…. Okay mom… Maybe she’s right, but I’m sure that I’ll still want it done when I’m 18 so why waste these precious youthful years without it pierced?! With the help of my sister, we convinced her to lower my required age. She said I can get it done for Christmas this year!!!!!!!
I’m scared, cause I do not want it to get infected! That would be disgusting. But, I promise I will clean it 3 times a day in order to prevent that. Another thing is, I have softball. There’s only about two back to back months out of the year that I don’t have it. And that’s not around Christmas time, so I don’t know how well that will work out when it’s first pierced. It’s only indoor practices so I hope it will be fine… ![]()
Have any of you gotten your belly button pierced? Would you care to share your experience?
